TUSA achieves the ideal balance of high
performance breathing and comfort with the introduction
of the RS-240 Platina regulator.
TUSA engineers used sophisticated measuring equipment to
determine the ideal air resistance level. The goal was a
light structure that achieved natural breathing with no
excessive air intake. By using painstaking analysis of
the working structure of the regulator, this goal was
achieved. The TUSA Platina Evolution RS-240 combines a balanced diaphragm first
stage with a lightweight second stage to give the diver
a regulator that delivers maximum breathing comfort for
an enjoyable diving experience. The TUSA Platina Evolution RS-240 is available
in black.
Swivel Joint
The TUSA Platina Evolution RS-240 is equipped with a swivel joint between the
second stage and L.P. hose to minimize the pulling
feeling that is usually associated with conventional
regulators.
Mouthpiece
The TUSA Platina Evolution RS-240 mouthpiece, developed on the basis of
ergonomic engineering, enhances the comfort of every
dive.
ANSTI Testing
TUSA technicians conduct ANSTI tests on all regulators
prior to shipping to ensure that the diver receives
their regulator preset to the ideal breathing resistance.
1st Stage Features:(R-200)
- Balanced diaphragm design: provides maximum

Lighter and smaller, the SS-10 combines a large
discharge valve with a deflection tube and deflector to
reduce exhaust resistance. The L.P. hose is yellow like
the main unit to improve visibility.
The computer with console gauge is contained in a compact
durable rubber case. The IQ-700 automatically goes on when
you enter the water, an innovation interface designed
exclusively for divers. A sizeable display and operating
panel with three buttons guarantees user-friendly operation.

TUSA Lumi-Nova® Light-Storage Dial Features:
No gauge can be called functional unless it can be read
at all times, day or night. To insure visibility in dark
locations, the gauge dials use pigments which make them
visible in the dark. These pigments come in two types:
luminous pigment and light-storage pigment. Luminous
pigments glow continuously because of the radioactive
material they contain. However, radioactive materials
(however small in amount), are strictly controlled for
production and disposal, which limits their practical
use. Light storage pigments, on the other hand, contain
no radioactive materials, but are impractical due to
their short luminescence times. The solution is Lumi-Nova:
a light storage pigment that can glow for an entire night.
TUSA is the first company in the world to incorporate
Lumi-Nova light storage dials, an epoch-making innovation
offering several times the brightness of conventional
dials, not to mention longer luminescence times. The
entire face glows bright enough to make it ideal for
night diving or diving in dark areas. And needless to
say, it contains no radioactive materials.
TUSA Pressure Gauge Features:
The pressure gauge uses a high-pressure helical bourdon
tube for a precise reading of remaining tank air.
Regularly checking tank pressure and water depth is a
basic condition for safe diving. It's important to get
into the habit of surfacing before the indicator needle
enters the red zone below 50bar (5MPa) / 750 psi. TUSA's
gauge dial features the groundbreaking Lumi-Nova pigment
which offers several times the brightness of conventional
dials.
TUSA Compass Features:
TUSA's compass delivers superior pressure and shock
resistance, with an oil-filled needle for accurate north
indication. The compass needle is made with an alnico
magnet for an extremely strong magnetic reaction. The
compass also features a side window for better visibility
and easier navigation without having to remove your eyes
from the target object. The rotating bezel (360 degrees
in 5 units) with index marks can be easily rotated to
match the compass needle even when you are wearing
gloves.

Ergonomics is the science of how to adapt mechanical
items to meet the needs of man. You may think that
ergonomics plays a minute role in the design of
instruments, however at TUSA nothing could be further
from the truth. You see, we study the needs of today's
