We carry 63 and 80 CU FT aluminum scuba tanks. In most diving conditions aluminum is the preferred choice of scuba cylinder due its buoyancy. Scuba tanks come in a variety of colors.
It is important that you have your tanks inspected regularly. Surface rust on your scuba tank can be an indication of thinning cylinder walls. Your local dive shop should be able to inspect your scuba tanks.
Scuba cylinders should only be filled by a reliable diving provider such as your local dive store.
Never leave scuba tanks standing during preparation. Gently lay the tank on its side to avoid damage to your cylinder.
Always keep your scuba tank slightly pressurized to avoid sea water, oils, poisonous gases, fungi or bacteria from entering the cylinder which can be dangerous and corrosive to the internal walls of the scuba tank. |
