Every Diver Deserves Cruz Control. Whether you're wrapped up in the warm waters of the Caribbean or exploring the depths of your local quarry, the Cruz BC is prepared for adventure. Designed in a simple yet functional jacket-style, this BC is ideal for cold water local diving with a lift capacity of 48 lbs. and yet packs flat at 8.2 lbs for travel. Constructed with ballistic nylon and fadeless 1600 denier Cordura® material, the harness and bladder are reinforced at stress points to ensure superior durability and comfort while diving. Equipped with a QLR weight integration system and two trim weight pockets that can handle up to 30 lbs, cruising the ocean currents is sure to be a joy.

Patented QLR (Quick Lock & Release) Weight Integration System
Oceanic's patented QLR Quick Lock & Release System is standard equipment on the Cruz. Your weights stay in position throughout the dive and do not shift around affecting buoyancy or position in the water. The weight pouches are simple to load and easy to release. Best of all, our patented "positive-lock" system helps to ensure that they'll stay put.
Rear Weight Pockets
Located on the back of the BC on either side of the tank cradle. Provides greater integrated weight capacity and better attitude underwater. Carries up to 10 non-dumpable pounds.
Fadeless Cordura®
Exterior abrasion points are covered in our fadeless 1600 Cordura® - tough stuff that will hold up to years of extreme diving and keep that "new look" longer.
Versatile Inflation/Deflation Controls - Right Shoulder Pull-Dump - Lower Pull-Dump
Ergonomically designed to be functional and easy to use in any dive position, pull-dumps have been positioned on the right shoulder and lower lobe for convenience and control. Additionally, the Reliant Integrated Inflator provides a full range of airway exhaust/inflation control. Simply press a button to produce precise flow for trimming dive attitude or maximum flow for major changes in buoyancy. A large exhaust valve creates a flow rate higher than the inflation rate of the power inflator, improving diver control during ascents.
Stainless Steel and Plastic D-rings
Welded and slightly bent for easy, this one-handed attachment can be found on the right shoulder for additional mounting points. Also incorporated into the BC design are 2 plastic D-rings located on the QLR for versatile accessory mounting.
Accessory Mounting Grommets
Located just above both the left pockets, a pair of built-in stainless steel grommets keep our Spinner Knife, Integrated Retractor (perfect for streamlining gauges, lights and other essentials), and Utility Pocket out of the way but just where you want it.
2 Quick-Release Adjustment Buckles
The Cruz's extra-strength harness is outfitted with quick release shoulder buckles for easy adjustment, even with thick gloves. Also included is a dual-adjust sternum strap for increased adjustment range.
Adjustable Cummerbund
Oceanic's cummerbund offers adjustment to fit a wide range of sizes. For additional customization, the cummerbund may be easily changed with another size.
Padded Backpack with Integrated Carry Handle
Extra heavy duty padding provides comfort both above and below the surface without having to sacrifice the stability of a hard backpack.

Optional Air XS 2 Alternate Inflator
The AIR XS 2 combines the reliability, performance and durability of the SlimLine OCTOPUS and INFLATOR into one very low profile, streamlined package. The regulator/inflator combination is as small as many BC inflators alone, with breathing performance superior to many stand-alone octopus regulators.
The AIR XS 2 can be added to any existing Oceanic BC or may be purchased already installed on a new Oceanic BC for additional savings.
