I picked these booties based on price and the 5 starfish review. I have to say I was not disappointed when I saw them! I havn't had a chance to use them, so I cannot attest to their durability, however they seem well built. Male or female you probably want to take your male shoe size and go with that or go up a half size, but I found the fit to be quite accurate. There is an excellent bumper over the top of the foot to protect feet from open heel fins. Can't wait to try these!
