The dream of every diver is to capture those intensive magic colors of coral, sponges and strange creatures of the underwater world. An external flash, attached to an underwater camera helps to bring out these rich colors in underwater pictures. Now JoeDiver is introducing the ReefMaster MAXX dual strobe system, a complete set of photographic equipment that will help divers achieve their goal.
The dual strobe not only expands the distance range of the flash, but it creates better colors by illuminating the object from two sides, thereby avoiding shadows. Translucent objects can be made to "glow," and many effects can be created by angling the ReefMaster Flash to provide light from the front and from a side. The ReefMaster Flash can be adjusted without use of screws, and the arms can be easily extended with the two included extension arms.
The ReefMaster Flash uses a slave system, which means that the flash is triggered by the camera's built-in flash without the use of cables or connections. - Less Maintenence!
The ReefMaster MAXX includes all the elements of a professional underwater photography system. The kit is comprised of: one ReefMaster RC land/sea camera with removable, rubber-armored housing; two SeaLife External Flash units; two 3-inch Flash Extension Kits; one 3X close-up lens/underwater filter; one airtight, unbreakable Dive Travel Accessory Case; a special care kit; and a basic instruction booklet.
Waterproof up to an impressive 164 feet, the ReefMaster RC camera compensates for tricky underwater photographic conditions by including an oversized sports viewfinder and shutter-release. It is completely automatic, and a special on-camera coral flash combats underwater blue effect. The camera also functions superbly on land, where its rugged, unbreakable rubber-armored housing provides a sure grip and added shock protection. Slide the inner 35mm camera from its housing, and users have a versatile compact camera for on-land snapshots.
SeaLife's External Flashes are positioned 12 inches away from the camera's lens, and a deflector covers the camera's built-in flash, to reduce annoying backscatter. (small particles in the water that reflect light and cause white spots to appear in the picture) In addition, the flash units function reliably at distances from two to eight feet from the subject.
Requires 35mm film (ISO 200 recommended) and two AA batteries.
